A patient with a facial scar, burn mark or sun-damaged skin is rarely asking for a fashionable treatment. They are usually asking a more serious question - what is likely to work, what is safe, and what will leave the skin in the best possible condition. That is where asking what are the advantages of laser surgery becomes clinically useful, because the answer is not simply that it is modern. The real advantages lie in precision, control and the ability to treat difficult skin problems with less collateral injury than many conventional methods.

What are the advantages of laser surgery in practice?

Laser surgery is not one single treatment. It is a category of highly controlled technologies that use focused light energy to target specific structures in the skin or soft tissue.
