Laser treatment forms part of personalised medicine and precision surgery. Treatment requirements vary according to the individual patient, the condition being treated, the anatomical area involved, response to treatment and the clinical objective sought. It is therefore not always possible, prior to assessment or during the early stages of treatment, to determine with certainty the exact treatment modality, extent of treatment or number of sessions that may ultimately be required.
For this reason, prices are quoted on a “from” basis and should be regarded as indicative rather than as a fixed quotation for an entire course of treatment. Wherever reasonably possible, following consultation and clinical assessment, we will provide an estimate of the proposed treatment pathway, anticipated number of sessions and likely associated costs. Any such estimate is based on the information available at that time and may require revision according to clinical response, changes in treatment requirements or patient preference. Where a material change to the proposed treatment plan or anticipated cost becomes apparent, this will be discussed with you before further treatment is undertaken, wherever practicable, so that you can make an informed decision about whether you wish to proceed. *facility fees depend on the clinic location and their pricing tariffs. Clinic tariffs are established by third parties where we provide our services depending on the nature and type of lasers needed. Accepting a consultation does not consittute an obligation to proceed to treatment: this decision is the consultant's alone.
