After getting in touch with us, one of our experienced PA Estelle, (Remedies Campus Hub Clinic) or Zoe (London) or our team will get in touch to discuss your concerns and arrange logistics for consultation. Patients living overseas have the option of organising a preliminary remote consultation. Your initial consultation is a vital step in your journey, where we take the time to truly understand your goals and aspirations. Together, we assess what is medically achievable while ensuring your expectations align with potential outcomes. To provide you with the utmost clarity and confidence, your first consultation is extensive and thorough. When necessary, we also offer a follow-up consultation, giving you ample time to ask questions, fully understand the procedure, and feel assured about every step of your journey.
What is a test patch
Where lasers are the way forward, a test patch involves essentially a bespoke laser calibration. We do it to find what is the range of laser settings that are most likely to do no harm, be effective and improve cost effectiveness of your procedure. To do this a number of tiny shots are fired at your skin.
A test patch is NOT a test of effectiveness; it is a test of safety. This saves you from an entire range of settings that are ineffective, and also from those potentially harmful on your skin. Skin responses vary immensely to laser depending on many factors including yoru skin type, sun exposure, even medications you are on.
Your Quote
In the speciality of plastic surgery, and even more so with lasers, each procedure is to some degree bespoke. After your consultation we will be delighted to provide you with a summary of the consultation, as well as a bespoke quote for the proposed procedure, in writing. We will also give you time to make your decision and would usually recomend a second consultation and staged consent, so that you hare happy in your decision, especially for the bigger procedures. For this reason, we ask you not to request prices over the phone before your consultation, as it is not possible to do so before seeing the patient and discussing what is the request and the way to go about it, that best fits your needs and your lifestyle.
