On the day of treatment
All procedures are performed in designated, approved premises specifically designed to accommodate the advanced instruments and technologies we use. While you may visit different clinics depending on your treatment needs, this ensures we have access to the widest range of lasers and energy-based devices, allowing us to select the best option for your specific requirements—not just what’s available.
From the world-famous Harley Street to the state-of-the-art Elms Clinic and the futuristic Remedies Campus Hub Laser Suite, we deliver a discreet, high-end service that sets the standard for excellence in care and innovation. Please have a look of the consent paperwork, which you are expected to be familiar with.

On the day of your procedure, do not wear any make up lipstick or eyeliner. Most of our laser procedures are done in an outpatient setting, and indeed most of our LARAm techniques have one giant advantage: you can go straight back home and return to daily activities straight away. For surgical procedures, these are always done in a licensed operating theater and where general anaesthetic is involved, you may need to be seen by a consultant anaesthetist before hand, but we will always discuss things beforehand with you and we will tailor to your specific needs.
If you are undergoing surgery please remember whether you are required to fast, and if your procedure is under local anaesthetic or general.
We are big on safety
At SkinSurgeon®, laser and laser-assisted procedures are undertaken within a structured clinical safety framework. Every patient is assessed before treatment and receives an explanation of the proposed procedure, expected benefits, alternatives, limitations, risks, precautions and aftercare.
Consent is obtained and must always be given before any procedure. The clinical record documents the indication for treatment, device used, treatment site, treatment parameters where applicable, protective measures, eye safety precautions, cooling or skin protection where relevant, aftercare advice and follow-up arrangements.During laser procedures, appropriate safety precautions are followed, including patient identification, confirmation of consent, use of suitable laser safety eyewear, control of the treatment area, device checks, appropriate cooling or skin protection, and plume management where required.
SkinSurgeon®, led by Professor Ernest Azzopardi, provides laser services in appropriately licensed premises in accordance with local governance, relevant safety procedures, recognised principles of laser safety and statutory requirement. The aim is to ensure that every laser treatment is properly explained, safely delivered and clearly documented.
